The facilities in CNFM centers are used in initiation or specialization courses by 70 universities and engineering schools to train 8,000 students every year.
These students may be on one of 200 hundred possible training tracks at degree and masters level, studying a range of scientific specialties (electronics, physics, IT, telecommunications, materials, chemistry, optics, etc.).
There are approximately 1,000 students currently specializing in micro- and nanoelectronics at masters level.

CNFM facilities are also available to approximately 550 PhD students and other researchers based in more than 70 different French laboratories. The expert staff in these centers provides technical support with this research.

CNFM centers host retraining or in-depth courses in technology, CAD and testing to approximately 500 business trainees each year, in order to maintain professional skill levels in business.
